Small classes have shaped by experience at CIU in a way where I feel like I can personally connect with the professors. I'm in a small class. I'm not just another number. But I can really build a personal relationship with the professor and really get the most out of my education and the knowledge that they have.
Studying abroad for a semester in Uganda has really impacted how I view the community here at CIU. I went and I just learned a lot about community, and being present with people, and really loving people for who they were. So going there and then coming back now, I've really tried to invest in this community here, realizing how special it is that we have a chance to be involved in this Christian community for four years is a beautiful thing.
